Our Company

Our company is built on the principles of producing quality merchandise and providing reliable service.  We are a mid-sized shop, with the capacity to handle hundreds or even thousands of pieces, or one special project.

Now in its 14th year, Life’s a Stitch Embroidery, LLC has grown from a single individual working from a spare room, to the operation of multiple state-of-the-art commercial machines, added heat press capabilities and several employees.  We are proud to do all our own work in-house.  This means that from start to finish, Life’s a Stitch handles every aspect of your order with expertise.

Our unique one on one service has established our place in the embroidery industry.  This allows us to make a distinctive and substantial impact for our clients.  Our diversified product range continues to grow by following trends, improving our standards, and listening to our customers.  Our reputation has grown primarily by word of mouth, thanks to the wonderful referrals we regularly receive from our happy customers.

We are proud to offer personalized and logoed clothing with our expert embroidery service to thousands of individual customers, businesses and organizations.  Our reputation, high standards and fair pricing have gained us recognition with several individual members of the NYS Assembly, local fire departments, other small business owners and not-for-profits.

Under the premise that she will be successful if the store goes to the people, Marjorie travels to festivals and events in many states to set up her retail line of Irish and Celtic inspired clothing for the whole family under the banner name Shamrock Chic.  She has also used a pop-up store concept to increase her retail business in such places as Colonie Center Mall in Albany, NY and Tuttle Crossings Mall in Dublin, OH during the busy holiday season.

The desireablity of her Irish/Celtic line and eye for design has also opened doors into the wholesale market.  Many items from Marjorie’s design collection are now being offered for sale by other businesses and stores across the country.  Other businesses have come to rely on Life’s a Stitch as their contract source, trusting in our quality production for their own customers.

Our Customers

Patricia Theobald – The Irish Walk in Alexandria, VA

” I wanted to drop you a line and tell you that I was selling items right out of the box the day I received your shipment.”

“It was a real problem keeping the new items on the shelf this weekend!  I am wondering if you have any more in stock for immediate shipment?”

Linda Grossman – The Chair Man and the Tea Lady in Abington, MA

“Marjorie – in all seriousness – - there may be many businesses that do what you do , but few (if any) that do it as well and that relationship is what makes you who you are.  No matter how large your business has grown, you still treat us like we’re ‘your only customer’ and it is very appreciated!”
