Why Embroidery?

Embroidery gives texture, richness and an upscale look that screen printing cannot convey. Embroidery begins with a concept and design which is then built into stitches, called digitizing, a complex process of laying down the areas of a design, outlines, fills, density, stitch support and direction, lettering, and colors from the first needle penetration to the last. None of these decisions are random or automatic, but are done with precision and experience by someone who knows fabrics, thread, garments, commercial machines and the digitizing process inside and out.

As a canvas for her design or yours, Marjorie personally selects garments and accessories to be embroidered based on quality and durability. Her line carries labels from some of the top garment manufacturers. Due to strong volume purchasing, Life’s a Stitch has access to some of the best pricing available from our vendors and we pass those savings onto our clients in the Irish and Celtic retail market.
